About The Artist: CandiceCandice was born in London, England and has lived in California for over 27 years. She has an undergraduate degree in Geology. After spending many years as a geologist cleaning up hazardous waste sites (environmental engineering), followed by 20 years in the world of human resources & security, Candice decided to reinvent her creative side and explore her background in the love of nature, geology and beautiful gemstones. CJ Designs focuses on creating exquisitely made jewelry, with beautifully matched freshwater pearls, gold, sterling silver, Swarovski crystals, precious and semi-precious gemstones. Our designs are inspired by nature and the beauty of stones and natural elements of our amazing planet. Our site is also educational, and has a great deal of content about geology, gemstone formation, how to recognize what you are buying, and many tips on selecting beautiful freshwater pearls, turquoise, opals, and various metals.
