FAQ


1. How do I place an order?

Select the item(s) you are interested in and click on the Buy Now box to start your order. Remember to Check Out after making all your selections.

Unique styles sell out quickly. Some of these items can be custom ordered or you can custom order a similar design.


2. Do you accept Custom Orders?

Yes. See our section on Custom Orders.

If you would like something special or unique, but do not have a design in mind, you can contact me and we can design something for you!


3. What is your guarantee?

All items include a full money-back guarantee for 15 days. Items must be returned in their original condition with a copy of the receipt and your name, telephone number & contact information so that we can apply the credit. Please remember to contact us to obtain a Return Authorization Number before returning any items. See the section on our Return Policy.

We hope you will love your jewelry! If you have any problem with your jewelry do not hesitate to let us know; we will repair our jewelry if there are manufacturing defects.

If an item breaks during normal wear & tear, keep the pieces and we will do our utmost to repair the piece for you, if possible. For one-of-a-kind jewelry we will try to recreate as close to the original as possible.

4. When will I receive my order?

All CJ Designs jewelry pieces are shipped via USPS Ground; cost is $5 per envelope/box weighing under 1/2 lb. Most orders are shipped out in 5-7 working days unless the item is not in stock or is a custom order. For more information, see our Shipping Policy.

Custom Orders and Special Requests are shipped as the items are made and become available; this date is normally determined when the transaction is discussed with you. Please allow at least two weeks for special orders.


5. Can I order a bracelet to fit me?

Yes. If you need a special size please let us know. All bracelets and necklaces can be shortened or lengthened. If this needs to be done as a special order we will let you know. Most of our earrings can be made shorter or longer also. However, this may not be possible for some designs.

When measuring for bracelet length, add ¼" to ½" to your wrist size for best drape. Do not measure too loose or your bracelet will snag on things too easily.


6. How do I order the correct size?


Bracelets

Measure your wrist and add approximately ½" so that the bracelet will not be tight. The bracelet should not be too loose in order to avoid catching or snagging.

Necklaces

14" - 16" “Choker” Length
18" Princess Length (Perfect for V-Neck Sweaters)
20" - 24" Matinee Length
23" - 26" Opera Length

Tip: Measure a favorite necklace end-to-end to determine the length you prefer.

Length Adjustment

If you custom order a necklace or bracelet tha subsequently needs to be adjusted in length, there will be additional shipping and materials fees based upon the type of materials selected and additional length requested. Contact us for additional costs.


7. Do you use sterling silver?

Most of our silver findings and beads are .925 sterling silver. Some of the Bali-style beads are fine silver (.999 or 99.9% silver content). These are softer than sterling silver. Type of bead used is listed in the jewelry description.

All silver colored toggles and clasps are made of .925 sterling silver. Bracelet charms are often made of pewter to provide the best definition and detail without tarnishing.


8. Can you make this in gold?

Many of our pieces can be made in gold or gold-filled; but not all designs are available. Gold filled beads are not available in all designs. Some beads are gold-plated—usually over sterling silver or pewter; this is noted in our product descriptions.

14 karat gold finding are available and are priced according to market rates for gold.

10. Do you have a mailing list?

Re-submit your request or call me if you have any further difficulties.


12. Can I shop for your jewelry in person?

Yes. Check our Shows & Events page for shows near you. If you would like to host a party either at your home, office, or online with friends, please contact me.


13. How do I make an exchange?

Visit our Return Policy page before making an exchange. Please contact me for a Return Authorization Number and return your jewelry within 15 days of your purchase.


14. How do I care for my jewelry?

15. Can I buy wholesale?

16. Do you sell to stores?

Yes, we do sell CJ Designs jewelry to select stores.


17. What is your privacy policy?

18. Do you offer gift boxes?

Yes! We offer beautiful gold foil boxes and an assortment of pretty organza bags. Our gift boxes are free with every purchase.

If you have a special request for packaging such as a special birthday, wedding party or Valentine’s Day, please let us know, we will accommodate your request if we can. Let us know this well in advance of your event!


19. What if my order does not arrive?

Contact me if your order does not arrive within the specified timeframes. All orders are sent insured and can be tracked.
